You think that wasn't a time gettin' that joker out of there? Uff-Da!!
Anyhoo, finally got the separater beater out thru the roof. At one time the gear had spun on the shaft and totally ruined the the darned thing. So, a "Add-a-gear" was just welded to it.
Promptly threw both the beater and the shaft in the iron pile, yanked the raddle door and cob shield so I can easily get at that chain. It's destination is gonna be the iron pile also.
If the false floor is still sound, maybe I can then start back the other direction. Never in my life seen a machine with so much "goody" used up. :>(
