WE HAVE 2 O4 MODEL DODGE 3500 EXACTLY ALIKE EXCEPT 1 IS 6 SPEED AND THE OTHER IS AUTOMATIC. THE 6 SPEED WILL WORK CIRCLES AROUND TOE AUTO. AND WITH MUCH BETTER FUEL ECONOMY. THE 6 SPEED WILL PULL A LOADED TRAILER IN 6TH GEAR, BUT THE AUTO. HAS TO BE RUN OUT OF OVERDRIVE,WHICH RESULTS IN HIGHER RPM AT THE SAME HIGHWAY SPEED. IS I AM JUST RIDING I LIKE THE AUTO. BUT FOR WORK I PREFER THE 6 SPEED. IF YOU AER GONNA JUST RIDE THE G.M. IS GOOD. BUTTTTTT IF YOU NEED IT TO WORK HARD, BETTER GET A DODGE.
