Don't try to impress her too much on a first date. Best to keep her guessing. A buddy of mine had a late 1960 something Mustang muscle car. Back when cars were cars. It was the hottest, loudest, fastest and flashiest thing you ever saw. He never took it on a date. He always took his dads old chore car (the date-mobile) that was full of dirt, manure, mice, junk and reeked of hog $hit. No fancy resturants either. Don't be crude, you still need to be a gentleman, but mostly be yourself. If she goes on a second date then she wants you for you and not your wallet or what you drive. He had many "one-timers" that wouldn't go twice, but he married the girl that would go anywhere in that car with him and to this day they are very happily married. Don't know how long they dated before she found out he had a flashy hot rod in the garage and a healthy checkbook, but I guess that was the point.
