You also have to either open or close the screw on the side depending on which you want to use. When standing behind the tractor, the screw will be on the left side of the powertrol. It has a tall hex cap which you remove, loosen the locknut and close the screw for remote operation and open it for rockshaft operation. You must do this and change the plugs every time you change back and forth.
