New John Deere fans, We have a 1952 John Deere BW. The Serial Number is 306087. We are having problems with the Power Trol. When you engage the lever to put the rock shafts up or down it will lug the tractor down but they will not move. We put a wrench on the rock shafts and pushed them up but it feels like you are pushing agaist a spring and they come back down. And yes we did engage the pto. The fluid level is also at the proper level. We believe the tractor used a remote cylinder before we got it (it has quick connect couplings)and the metering screw was cranked in. We screwed it out a few threads and still there is no difference. Any help that could be provided would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!!
