Lanse, I haven`t been following this real close, but to pay to have an H hauled approx 1,100 miles doesn`t sound like a smart move. I don`t doubt whoever is offering you the tractor has great intentions, but.... Free ain`t free unless you happen to live next door and can yank it home with your Kubota.
I think some of the earlier advice of being patient and keeping your nose to the ground around your area will pay off for ya.
That $1000 could go a long way toward a nice, running H or M.
Hats off for your enthusiasm, but save your money, so when the right deal comes along you can grab it.
