Reading below about Crackerhead's find of a Deere. It makes me think about deals that I have had dump in my lap. A guy I work with said that a few years ago he went to a dumpster inside a mini-storage place and pulled a working Remington chainsaw out of the dumpster, just needed gas/oil. Works fine 5 years later. As for me...I got some great deals on a Hartford indexing chuck for a bridgeport- $50 (easily worth $300 and up) I bought a Ralmike toolmakers vise for $10, easily worth $100 or more new. I bought a Kennedy roll around chest, small style for $10. I got all this stuff when my old employer moved to Ohio. I also bought 2 very nice executive style desks both for $75.
