When I was a kid,we had a chance to buy one for $20. Dad said all it would be good for is a mail box post. Walt Beuscher was blockman for Allis in northern Ohio and eastern Michigan. He said everybody who ever tryed to trade one in claimed theirs was the only one in the world that didn't loose water. Don't know about us speaking German if it wasn't for them being melted down. I'd always heard they were melted down and sent to Japan BEFORE the war.
