Yes, I feel your pain. My teeth were wearing out and all of the old fillings were just about shot. Dentist wanted me to cap everything. The cost $24K. Required a lot of soul searching, because I tend to be thrifty and it is hard to understand why it is so expensive. Could buy a lot of toys for that kind of money. Finally decided to do it and the results look fantastic. Hopefully as time passes the "sting" from the exorbitant cost will fade. Tomorrow will drop another $4K for Lasik eye surgery. For the last 15 years the better half has been after me to get rid of glasses and I'm not going to wear contacts. Been there and done that 30 years ago. This is the first time I've had enough medical to be tax deductable, so might as well make her happy and also let Uncle Sam pick up a little of the tab.
