I'm considering a Howse moldboard plow - MPH116, single bottom, 16" - for working up several acres for a food plot. This is a hobby for me, so keeping expenses down is a big priority (especially with the missus!!). I can get this at Northern Tool in Lynchburg, VA for $330 (if I have it shipped to the store, I don't pay freight on it). I'd be pulling it with my JD 1020 gas.
Does anybody have experience with this manufacturer? The price is appealing, but I'd hate to buy a piece of junk and wind up wasting my money. Thanks for any light that you can shed on this for me.
