Last couple of years we were cheering or cursing the price increases in scrap metal. China was/is buying up record amounts of the stuff. Now we are reaping the rewards as the goods this went into are going up. Add to that the increases in freight and transportation, and the increases in raw materials. Subtract from that the incredible shrinking dollar and what we have is a tremendous price squeeze.
Sorta reminds me of the early 70's.
