"Go to the Dealer"...well, that depends on the dealer...we had a 91 Cavalier, and the engine started racing (40 MPH with foot off the gas!) Took to good shop, changed various sensors, no help. Shop took to their electronic expert, who had right idea but in middle of mental meltdown, so his work no help. Shop sent us to Chev dealer (shop paying); explained in detail to Chev shop, gave them typed history of problem, work done. They said "talked to factory, fixed now"--wasn't. Only got it fixed by taking to guy who built performance cars, programmed his own computer systems.
