Sorry to hear you may be leaving NY - but best wishes what ever you decide. I have a friend who moved back from WI to his fathers farm here in NY after his father died . He trucked his cows back and hired at least 3-4 tractor trailer loads of equipment hauled . This was 25 years ago. From a strictly financial perspective , I would imagine hired hauling or the cost of fuel, tolls etc etc would make it pretty expensive to move anything but hard to replace or favorite pieces of equipment. Not sure if you cross through Canada to get there but I'd look into any customs issues too if needed. You may be able to buy a larger gooseneck and do some hauling your self , but I imagine from a financial view point it'd be easier/cheaper to sell most of bigger pieces here and repurchase things as needed out there.Good luck with your decision .
