Good point and very important. I forgot to to mention adding some AFFF. Even dish soap is better than nothing. Dishwasher soap and laundry soap work excellent as a water wetter. I've checked thousands on Monthly inspections on A,ABC,BC & D extinguihers. And weighed more CO2 cartridges than I can remember. One night I freaked out a couple of operators. We had class BC CO2 units going out for thier pressure vessel test. I had kept blowing down extinguishers into the same garbage barrel. After emptying over a hundred 5 & 10lb CO2 units. The barrels sides were covered in frost but yet appeared to be smoking from the vapours flowing down from the around the lid. The operators certain the fire alarm had to be sounded as the garbage barrel was "smoking". And that was still after pointing out to them the frost on the barrel sides and the cold vapours dropping instead of raising.
