Hello there - yikes - I need all the help I can get! I just bought acreage here in Canada and a Ford 2110 Diesel 4WD came included in the real estate "package". I don't have a clue about tractors and can't get the darned thing to start. It turned over a couple of times and then it just did a bunch of "clicking" sounds so maybe the battery is dead, but I charged it for about 36 hours and it made no difference. The former owner had it running well before I bought the property, so I know the tractor works. There is no glow plug light either, but there is a button on the left side of the dash that I don't know what it is for - doesn't seem to do anything - can you tell me what it is for? Can someone please tell me what the correct steps are for starting a tractor like this? Do you have to have it in neutral and your foot on the clutch or doesn't it matter? Do you just turn the key to start it or is there also a starter "button" after turning the key on? Since there is no glow plug light, how long do I wait after turning the key to start it? Should I buy a new battery or maybe borrow one from a farmer friend - maybe the battery isn't the problem??? Thanks for all your assistance, Marion

My wife who works at a local school, and only has weekends and summers off, while on t
