An auto parts store, a real one not the auto zones had an oil filter cut down display. Wix. Fram and AC Delco. Had cut the can off each and left the paper filter. The wix had the most filter it filled the can. Next was the AC Delco it was about 80 % or so of the area for filter, and last was the Fram it was maybe 50% of the area of the circile. Never and that is a long time have I bought a Fram oil filter after that. When my FIL was trucking he used only WIX oil filters on the big trucks.
