Most waiters and waitresses only make like $3 an hour for a starting wage, the rest is supposed to be made up in tips. If I was your waiter, I'd spit on your steak every time, or worse.
I tip. Not always very good, but if the service was good then I tip good. We had a waiter that the first time my fiance and I had him, he was horrible. We left a buck and some change for a tip off a bill that was $30. We had him a few months later, and man did his performance change. Left him a 5 that night for the same size bill.
If ya wanna tell your waiter/waitress they could do better, leave a couple pennies or a very small tip. If they did good, tip a little better. If you want spit in all your meals, keep doing what you're doing. I can gaurantee that you've had more than one meal with some extra sauce on them already. Hope you don't get the same waiter twice. Mainly for their sake.
