You'll probably get a lot of replies. People are as opinionated on trucks as colors of tractors, maybe more. I personally think that every brand has their ups and downs. I've had chevys, fords and a dodge, I personally prefer Ford they hold up better for me. I've had a 6.9 and a 7.3 diesel ford with good luck, I don't know about the newer diesels. I've got a neighbor that has always been a chevy man, he bought 2 duramax diesels and kept them about a year. Now he has ford diesels (6.0). He claimed he couldn't keep fuel in them. I've had 2 dodges, my first and last. But it probably was just a lemon. I know some who have had very good luck with them.

In July of 1998 I was talking to fellow Allis Chalmers collector Mike Schilling about the annual "Gathering of The Orange" AC show coming up in August of 1999.
