By the sound of your post, you either don't know didly squat about bison or you don't feed them but dirt. in the 11 years i have had bison, i never had them going trough the fence yet. If they are happy where they are they will never leave you. they are easyer on a fence than beef. I run a 5' high page wire fence with posts 21' apart. I have had a 100+ feet strech of fence down by trees after a storm, they could have walked right out, none did but i could see they had been there.
If you use high tensile, put power on #6,4,2 and ground the rest. dry ground does not ground well You have to train them in a corral to the juice.
