Fencing in my sweetcorn feild, Its all picked and the stalks are turning brown. Was planning on leaving a few cows in there to eat and replanish the soil during the fall-spring. How soon can I put a few bred cows in there, will the green stuff make em sick, or can I finish up and go buy my cows now?? Same goes for a 7 acre peice of drought stricken feild corn, between 3 and 5 feet tall, some small cobs, will not be harvested, do I leave it up and graze it, or hit it with a stalk chopper 1st.
