I have wondered about the claims that these oils will run so long, like on Amsoil's website it says 15,000 miles. The oil that is in the car now will get dirty just as quick as the Amsoil will. The filter is really the important part. It doesn't matter if the oil "will last 15,000 miles" if it is dirty oil.
