you want a charging system for your 12Vbattery and lights. your 6V starter is ok on 12V. so i would go for an alternator 1 Wire system the regulator is built into it. it is easy to install. a delco alternator works the best.
i cant rember the number but there is awireing diagram here in the archives some one will help with that. here soon
