If you bought the rotovator with the tractor that may be a Howard step down transmission. On old fords and early furgesons the ground speed was to fast and the other transmissions slowed the pto speed along with the ground speed. rotovator so Howard built a step If it is a Howard it is only to be used for the rotovator. It is not a granny gear to be used for pulling.
