I have quit selling to horse people for 45.00 a roll and selling my hay to farmers for 35.00 a roll.
Not good business to take this much of a cut, but it helps the farmers stay above ground..
Alot of small farmers have sold all their cows and some of the larger ones have sold some of theirs.. Cow prices have dropped some what in the last couple of months because of the extra cows being sold..
I need to roll another 600 rolls.. I have already rolled 865 this year..
Now i can't find fields to cut that has good hay or not just burnt up..
