My new tractor hates me

We just bought a Case IH C90 and it has an intermittent starting problem. I think it is a safty switch. The dealer told me that there are two of them and that they are on the clutch peddle. I have found something that looks like a switch under the foot rest. Can some one point me in the right direction on this thing? Thanks BillD1
