bc,since I seem to have less and less time to lurk here, kick me an e-mail if you continue to fight it. I am trying to remember, did dodge have the lean burn out on trucks yet in 79? That is the most useless system I have ever seen but either way i have ciphered out how to wire the dist. to the module thru the resistors. Kinda sounds like pick-up coil to me tho. Chilton book has a very in depth diagnostic chart that can't be beat. Good luck. Fred
