I agree with old, tranny fluid let it soak a while then run it a little bit and put a thicker oil. Look over all of the links to see if there are any damaged links and repair before you start to load. You do not want to have a chain break and have to shovel it off. I spread a LOT of manure (smelly kind not politician kind). When you are done be sure to clean it up good and oil down the chains.
