Doug, I agree. One should be able to protect his property, but they don't look at things the same way we might. If your gaurd dog bites a thief you will be held liable for his injuries. Now what is right about that? If he trips over some of my junk in the yard, I will be held liable for his broken leg or skinned up head. Especially after I get the dog off him. It is a messed up time my friend, where criminals have more rights than folks trying to protect themselves.
