That is exactly what I am going to do. My 05 will need tires and the 6.4 will have had a year to bring out any weakness that is in it.
By the time you put on a set of tires, and brakes, and do a few other things once they are out of warranty, you may as well buy new, and start over again.
Although I did trade a 1 year old F-150 one time because it needed a wash job.
