The last time we had sheep, we didn't get enough from the wool to pay the shearing bill either. You have to shear them though. We got out of the sheep business. An old man told me the only thing on a sheeps mind when born, was finding a good place to lay down and die. He also said it better be close cause their feet stayed to sore for them to walk very far to die. He wasn't to far off.
