Location, location...It is just the opposite here 200 miles east of Walt, NE part of Oregon, last winter I paid $35 for 1400 lb square bale grass hay. Now if you are talking about alfalfa, thats a different story, it brings $150+ pr ton here. And it does not matter if it is small squares or 1 ton large square bales!! Keith & Shawn
