Get the 3400.The 8n replaced the mule on the farm.The 3400 with the deisel will do everything you need to care for your 5 acres.It will be cheaper operated and have more features than the 8n.Just make sure it has a 3pt. hitch and you will have a tractor made for mowing,landscaping and garden work.
