A couple of winters ago, a young gal ran into my "beater" work 1984 Suburban. She did $3600.00 damage to her little plastic car, and "tweaked" a bumper moulding on my Sub. It's AMAZING how all that modern plastic will break in below-zero temps! I wasn't the least bit worried about the damage to my Sub, and my "pride of ownership" in the 'ole beater wasn't affected a bit, it was just another "battle scar" for the old girl!
