Years ago Consumer Reports did a comprehensive test of motor oils which included name brand and genereic. The oils compared all met the same API standards. I read the test and it was very thorough and proffessional. They found no difference between brands of oil. As long as the product meets the manufactures standards, I am comfortable with it.
