Make sure you are comparing like kinds of oil. The Case and Deere oil is a transmission and hydraulic oil with wet brake and other additives for use in transmissions/hydraulics with a common sump.Commonly called universal tractor fluid,and can be used in a hydraulic system also. There is also hydraulic oil which would be used strictly in a hydraulic only system.Doesen"t have the additive packages,hence the lower price.This cannot be used in a transmission with wet brakes.
