There is a significent difference in oils, depending on the grade of base oil that you start with and the additives that are mixed with the base oil. The oil companies rate their own oil and can and will say anything, so buy your oil from a name brand manufacturer that has a reputation to uphold like Mobil or Shell. There are no doubt some good oils made by small unknown oil blenders, but there is no way you or I can know who they are.
