If it's an old tractor, any good quality hydraulic oil should be OK. If the tractor is in warranty, be careful. Some mfg tear up the warranty if you go off brand. Kubota will do that in a heartbeat. You either use their UDT/Super UDT or guess what? No warranty. I have a '49 WD that I use a 20w20 (I think) hyd oil from Fleet Farm. Works great. Original specs called for 30w non-foaming oil or hyd fluid. Non-foaming is key. You don't want little bubbles in your hydraulics.
