either will work fine. but since you have it apart, change the washers and springs,o rings around the spout, and the diverter if you have a spray. also change the flat black washer above the ball. then adjust the action with the little white peice that screws in on top of the flat black washer. also grease up the spout before you put it back on. should all come in the rebuild kit. pg
