Navy 1958 to 1962 (Laos action Expeditionary medal) (5034643)
1968 to 1972 naval reserve.
12 years total in reserves and regulars.

1961 5 days of "Hell" off Subic Bay Philippines on LSD-22 Fort Marion fighting 200 MPH winds and seas crashing over bridge 80 ft. above water line. Almost lost it all that time.
The sea can be something else when a big storm comes up.

I was alway proud of my service even when others were not.
My 3 Uncles were Navy and Merchant Marine during WW-II I'm proud of them also.
Had a gt. uncle who was a Doctor on the Great White Fleet 1910.
