Well, Jean Pierre, I can't speak for other folks, but for me, it's a day to remember all those young men and women that have made (and are making) sacrifices to keep the United States strong and free. Thanks to them, I didn't have to learn to speak German or Russian, I can go anywhere in this great country I darn please without asking anyone's permission, and if I think one or more of our leaders or politicians is wrong about something, I can say so and try to do something about it, without fear of reprisal. It's pretty easy to take that sort of thing for granted when you've lived that way all your life, so today I make an extra effort to be aware of it and thankful for it.

Seeing an Old Friend - by Joe Evans. Dad had a concrete contracting business starting in 1960. One of his first pieces of equipment was a Ferguson TO-35 with a Davis loader. Dad replaced the TO-35 with a MF 202 Workbull, essentially an industrialized Ferguson 35 I am told.
