The 400 crank in a 351W block workes well to make a long stroke 400 CI Windsor,the crank is not a drop in fit as some machining is required and special rods/pistons are required.
You can make a fairly economical 400W by purchasing a 'kit" from one of the engine buiulders like PAW. It will come as a fitted and balanced assy ready to install in your block or with a PAW supplied block if any grinding is necessary and you dont want to tackle that part.
