Biggest problem with leaving computers on all the time these days is being connected to the Internet via anything other than a standard phone line. Without good and current stop measures there is always the chance your computer could be invaded by some less than scrupulous person looking for info about you. Or using your computer to send out viruses to others. I have run 95, 98, Millinium, XP and am currently working with a Mac. All of them seem to like to be restarted every couple of weeks. Seems to reset the operating system. The Mac is really bad and when web sights get slow loading or moving around in I know it is time to reboot.
