I have the same problem with my Barn i got some big cats they do a number on the birds and help keep the out.
Not that I don't like birds I have a large feeder that I fill almost every day in the winter. But the swallows come in sometime in the spring and nest in the barn.
When I am mowing they almost block out the sun around the tractor.
