I been having similar problem as I have all my equipment setting outside the shed to do my field work and seem like at least once a week someone has to stop by and take up a lot of my time to ask me when the sale is. even after I point to the plowed or planted fields and ask them if they dont think i been using all the equipment they still say they thought it was getting lined up for a sale. I guess because I use older machinery they dont think I farm with it but I sure get tired of them bugging me. Worse is when you ask them if there is something they are wanting to buy they say no just thought there might be an auction. Go figure! And people wonder why I carry a shotgun!!
