Had a guy stop by and want to buy Dad's old Chevy truck. Turned him down. Next day I got a visit from the code enforcement officer and he had gotten a complaint about a junk unlicensed (it was still licensed) truck on my property. I moved the truck into the polebarn and like clockwork the other guy stopped that afternoon wanting to know what I did with the truck. "well sir, I cut it up for scrap", code enforcement said it had to go. 'well I wanted to buy it!', "well tough s**t pal!" And if you don't leave and stay away, I'm calling the cops about you hassling my underage daughter!
Haven't seen him even drive by since.
