Check engine light? Trouble codes? Don't know about Tyvodas, but on other cars, the fuel pressure regulator diaphragm can fail, dumping raw gasoline into the intake manifold. (One side of the diaphragm is connected to intake vacuum to vary fuel pressure as intake vacuum varies.) Could even be a bad intake air temperature sensor, or coolant temperature sensor, tricking the 'puter into setting the fuel rate for COLD operation, much as a choke on a carbureted engine.
