My 1996 Toyota Previa was running fine. Latly it started acting like it was flooding out, if I back drane the fuel line to the filter than reconnect it then it runs fine for about ten minutes then it floods out and dies. Any suggestions what to look for. Could it possibly be a bad fuel enjector???? Thanks in advance!!

Check engine light?

Trouble codes?

Don't know about Tyvodas, but on other cars, the fuel pressure regulator diaphragm can fail, dumping raw gasoline into the intake manifold.

(One side of the diaphragm is connected to intake vacuum to vary fuel pressure as intake vacuum varies.)

Could even be a bad intake air temperature sensor, or coolant temperature sensor, tricking the 'puter into setting the fuel rate for COLD operation, much as a choke on a carbureted engine.
