Thanks to all for the suggestions.
I have a 7" Massey Ferguson. I believe it is a model 725 or 735 possibly. I will try the extra fluid as suggested first and then go from there. As I said, when you pull the lever it jumps up halfway very quickly. Pressure does not seem to be the problem.
Love the old tractor and do not want to upgrade yet.
