While RR's are not my field, I always understood Pullman's m'f'g operations were limited to railcars and possibly trolleybuses of various kinds, until I ran across a listing of a Pullman Standard Car Co ballast tamper with a Cat engine, apparently produced at least 1957-59. Nothing else shows under Pullman in my limited sources, and nothing under Graves, but it does appear Pullman either m'f'd some equipment for RR maintenance or contracted for it. Sounds interesting.
