I have a bulldozer available to me that I'm thinking of buying as an antique. It was pullman car co. around 1930 and is about the size of a JD 350 dozer. It also has a tag saying Graves on it. It was driver into the barn about 4 years ago and is in quite good shape. I have no idea of it's true value but it was supposidly working when driven in there. Can anyone help me out with the value of this. Thanks Dean

I did a little research on this tractor and its funny none of my books even mention it but I found this picture on the internet of the Pullman tractor and Implement co.

Does this look like your tractor the picture was taken in 1947.

Those are Caterpillars. Could the tractor be made by Cat or some other Co and just have a Pullman Company tag on it?

I was kind of thinking that this is a shop in Pullman, WA but couldn't find anything that said what it was except that it was the Pullman tractor and Implement Co.

While RR's are not my field, I always understood Pullman's m'f'g operations were limited to railcars and possibly trolleybuses of various kinds, until I ran across a listing of a Pullman Standard Car Co ballast tamper with a Cat engine, apparently produced at least 1957-59. Nothing else shows under Pullman in my limited sources, and nothing under Graves, but it does appear Pullman either m'f'd some equipment for RR maintenance or contracted for it. Sounds interesting.
